Important Notice Guide Sight is NOT a medical device, medical application, healthcare tool, or medical software of any kind. It does NOT provide medical advice, medical diagnoses, medical treatment recommendations, or any form of healthcare services. Do NOT use this app for any medical purpose whatsoever. If you have a medical condition or emergency, contact a qualified healthcare professional or call emergency services immediately.

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Guide Sight mobile application. By downloading, installing, or using Guide Sight, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Guide Sight, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Guide Sight is a general-purpose AI assistive tool that uses artificial intelligence to describe visual scenes, provide reminders, and offer task guidance. It is designed purely as a convenience and lifestyle tool. It is NOT a medical device, NOT a health application, and NOT regulated by any medical or health authority. All data is stored locally on your device.

3. NOT a Medical Application — Zero Medical Purpose

THIS IS NOT A MEDICAL APPLICATION. Guide Sight has absolutely no medical purpose, medical function, or medical use. Specifically:

Guide Sight is NOT a medical device under any jurisdiction's laws or regulations
Guide Sight does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Guide Sight is NOT a replacement for any medical device, tool, or professional
Guide Sight is NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition
Guide Sight does NOT monitor health in any clinical or medical capacity
Medication reminders are convenience features ONLY — they are NOT medical prescriptions, medical instructions, or medical advice
AI-generated descriptions are computer-generated guesses that may be completely wrong
Nothing in this app should be interpreted as medical guidance of any kind

You must NEVER rely on Guide Sight for any health-related or medical decision. Always consult a qualified physician or licensed healthcare provider for ALL medical matters.

4. AI Limitations — Output May Be Wrong

Guide Sight uses artificial intelligence that is inherently imperfect and unreliable. AI-generated content, including visual descriptions, text responses, and any other output:

May be partially or completely inaccurate
May contain errors, omissions, or fabricated information
May misidentify objects, people, text, or environments
May fail to detect hazards, obstacles, or important details
Should NEVER be solely relied upon for personal safety
Should NEVER be treated as factual or authoritative

You acknowledge that AI output is probabilistic and can produce wrong, misleading, or nonsensical results at any time without warning. You assume all risk associated with acting on AI-generated content.

5. No Warranty

Guide Sight is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement. We make NO guarantees that:

The app will function correctly, continuously, or without errors
Any AI output will be accurate, complete, or useful
Reminders or notifications will be delivered on time or at all
The app will be suitable for any particular use case
Features will remain available or unchanged

6. Complete Limitation of Liability

TO THE ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GUIDE SIGHT, ITS DEVELOPERS, OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:

Your use of or inability to use the app
Any inaccurate, incorrect, or misleading AI-generated content
Any action you take or fail to take based on app information
Personal injury, property damage, or any harm of any nature
Missed, late, or incorrect reminders or notifications
Failure to reach contacts or send messages
Loss, corruption, or unavailability of data
Any health-related outcomes or consequences
Reliance on the app for personal safety or navigation
Third-party service failures or errors
Any other matter relating to this app

YOUR USE OF GUIDE SIGHT IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS, OR $1 USD, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

7. Assumption of Risk

You expressly acknowledge and agree that you use Guide Sight at your sole and exclusive risk. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with using the app, including but not limited to risks arising from inaccurate AI outputs, missed reminders, software bugs, device incompatibilities, or any other functionality issues. You agree that you will not hold us responsible for any consequences resulting from your use of the app.

8. Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Guide Sight, its developers, owners, and all affiliated parties from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of any third party.

9. End User License Agreement (EULA) & Subscriptions

This section serves as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for Guide Sight.

9.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Guide Sight on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

9.2 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Guide Sight offers the following optional auto-renewable subscription plans:

Guide Sight Pro Monthly — 1-month subscription at $7.99 USD per month
Guide Sight Pro Annual — 12-month subscription at $79.99 USD per year

Subscription terms:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
All prices are subject to change. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change

9.3 Free Trial

Guide Sight may offer a free trial period for new subscribers. If offered, you will not be charged during the free trial period. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Free trial eligibility is determined by the App Store and is limited to one trial per Apple ID.

9.4 Restrictions

You may not: (a) copy, modify, or distribute the app; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app; (c) rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the app; (d) use the app for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent; (e) remove any proprietary notices from the app.

9.5 Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the app and delete all copies.

10. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for how you use this app. You agree not to misuse the app, reverse engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. You must not rely on this app as your sole source of information for any important decision, especially decisions involving health, safety, or personal well-being.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms will be available within the app. Continued use of Guide Sight after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app developer operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
